UWP Gives Back Tour

In 2018 and 2019, I’ve a mission to build and launch 6 pro-bono websites while living in 6 different places – without changing how we operate UWP or negatively impacting our existing clients.

These sites will be for organizations that promote movement and the arts, primarily with a focus on children, but I’ll take a look at any organization that fits the bill. I want to give them an online presence that can further their mission, reduce friction and time spent on administrative duties and elevate their work in the eyes of funders and sponsors.

My mode of transportation as I do the UWP Gives Back Tour is going to be a bit different. Did you know I rode a bicycle down and up the East Coast and then a Vespa across country? Since, I’ve put over 100K miles on my RVs.

To make this a fun and spectacular tour, I’m switching it up, parking the RV for most of each year and will now travel by motorcycle with a sidecar! Yes, Logan already has doggles, even.

Sponsoring part of the acquisition of this new chariot will get your business logo on the sidecar along with mentions in all reports of the tour as well as additional opportunities to promote your own business.

Any amount you’d like to give will go toward the expenses of the tour and helping these 6 charities do more good in their world. Note, this is not a tax-deductible donation. If you would instead like to do that, I will let you know the organizations as they are determined and you can donate directly to them.

Your funds will have “wheels” and get this all rolling. The first organization has already been picked and is located in Walla Walla, Washington, but there are still 5 slots to be determined, they can be anywhere! Expenses will include the new-to-me motorcycle and sidecar (I prefer to buy used and let someone else do the shakedown ride!), gas and repairs (hopefully very few!) as well as travel.
